Revelations 12:11
"They over came him by the Blood of the Lamb
and the word of their testimony."
(Your testimony of Jesus overcomes the enemy)
I get asked all the time "How do you talk to people about your Faith?" I always say honestly, the best thing you can do
is tell them your Faith story. What did being saved do for you? What struggle did Jesus Christ help you overcome?
How do you feel now that you have been redeemed? Write it down, tell them one on one, make a video and share it with Family, Friends, Social media..everywhere. That is the easiest way to talk about your Faith and the most powerful.
The key to this is to be bold, yes it is out of our comfort zone and I have struggled with this personally and in ministry.
God never said being a Christian is going to be easy, actually the Bible scriptures tell you the exact opposite. No one had it tougher than Jesus Christ while in the flesh on this earth. If you do not know or do not remember;
He died for you and for me and all of humanity on earth after first being scourged (whipped), spat upon, mocked, ridiculed, humiliated and ultimately Crucified on the Cross. Remembering this and knowing that as a true Child of God and a Christian this makes you a disciple of Christ and it is our mission to share the Word of God.
Our Faith is being attacked both physically, legally and ridiculed on a daily basis and prophecy is being fulfilled.
Be bold in your faith as I remember these scriptures from the Apostle Peter. I hope they help you to be bold as well.
1 Peter 4:1-2,16,19
1 Therefore since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin.
2 that he no longer should live the rest of His time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.
16 Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.
19 Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful creator.
