We are sharing Christ with the world and transforming lives worldwide. Teaching and sharing Biblical teachings in the hope of letting all come to the kingdom of God through Jesus Christ, being saved by grace through faith. Christianity is not about signing up for a religion. Christianity is about being born into the family of God (John 3:3). It is a relationship.

The Lord's Prayer
Most of us have heard it, even memorized it as Christians either growing up in Church, our parents, grandparents etc... But what does it really mean???
Jesus' disciples had seen him pray many times. Sometimes he prayed all night and sometimes His prayers were just one sentence. But Jesus' followers made the connection between Jesus' intense prayer life and the power He showed in every aspect of life.
They must have realized that prayer was the link. Finally, one disciple asked Jesus to teach them how to pray. Jesus gave them a deceptively simple, childlike prayer which has come to be known as "The Lord's Prayer." Mathews version highlights seven key parts:
1)Our Father in Heaven,
2)hallowed be Your name,
3)Your Kingdom come,
4)Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
5)Give us today our daily bread.
6)Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
7)And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
--Matthew 6:9-13
In this pattern, Jesus provided His followers with guidelines for prayer based on the attributes and characteristics of God.
In our next Sermon study series "The Lord's Prayer" We are going to finally teach what those attributes and characteristics of God are and why Jesus felt it to be so important to teach these to His followers. It all starts on Wednesday HERE. Please join us, after all these years or if you are just starting out, find out the true meaning of "The Lord's Prayer"
